Best Prosthetic Bionic Hand for Individuals in Patna – Why Robobionics is #1

Losing a hand is one of the most difficult challenges a person can face. It changes how you live, how you move, and how you feel about yourself. But that doesn’t mean your life has to slow down or lose its meaning. With the right support, the right technology, and the right people behind you, you can move forward stronger than ever.

For many people in Patna looking to regain control and independence, the journey begins with one question: What is the best prosthetic bionic hand for me?

At Robobionics, we’ve been helping people across India take that next step with confidence. Our bionic hands are more than devices—they are tools built to help you reclaim your daily life, your freedom, and your self-respect. We design them with one goal in mind: to fit into your world, your needs, and your routine as naturally as possible.

If you’re in Patna and searching for a trusted partner in this journey, you’re in the right place. This guide will walk you through why Robobionics is not just the best choice in Bihar, but the leading name in smart, human-first prosthetics across the country.

Every city is different, and so are the people who live there. In Patna, life is fast, full of movement, and deeply connected to community.

Understanding What People in Patna Really Need from a Bionic Hand

Life in Patna Comes with Its Own Challenges

Every city is different, and so are the people who live there. In Patna, life is fast, full of movement, and deeply connected to community.

Whether you’re walking through the busy streets near Gandhi Maidan, taking a boat across the Ganga, or teaching a class in a school near Kankarbagh—your hands are part of almost everything you do.

That’s why a prosthetic bionic hand for someone in Patna must go beyond just opening and closing. It must work well in real situations—helping you hold a phone, lift a bag, shake hands, write your name, ride a bike, or eat with your family.

These may seem like small tasks to others, but to someone regaining the use of a hand, they mean the world.

At Robobionics, we’ve designed our bionic hands to be smart, strong, and simple. But we’ve also made sure they fit the lives of everyday people.

They are built to handle heat, dust, long hours, and busy days. Because we know that the challenges you face aren’t just technical—they’re emotional and personal too.

When you use our bionic hand, it doesn’t just help you move again. It helps you feel like yourself again.

Technology That Works for You, Not Against You

Some people think bionic hands are too complicated. That they’ll need months of training or that the controls will be too confusing. That may be true for imported devices that were never designed with Indian users in mind. But not with Robobionics.

We’ve created bionic hands that work with your body, your habits, and your natural movement. You don’t need to press buttons or memorize strange commands.

Our hands use signals from your muscles—what are called EMG signals—to understand what you want to do. When you think about holding something, the hand listens and responds. It learns with you. And over time, it becomes as familiar as your own hand used to be.

We also know that many people in Patna work long hours. So we’ve made sure our bionic hands run on powerful batteries that last all day.

Whether you’re out for work, traveling on a bus, or attending a family event, you won’t have to worry about your hand stopping in the middle of it. It charges fast, stays cool, and stays reliable—even in power-cut situations.

Most importantly, the design is simple. There’s nothing scary or robotic about it. From a distance, it looks just like a natural hand. And up close, it feels soft and smooth. That way, you feel confident wearing it anywhere, without feeling like you stand out.

Designed for Comfort and Long-Term Use

One of the most common problems we hear about older prosthetics is discomfort. The socket hurts, the hand feels heavy, or the skin gets irritated after just a few hours.

That’s not acceptable. If you’re going to wear something every day, it must feel good from the moment you put it on to the moment you take it off.

At Robobionics, we build every prosthetic hand to match your body perfectly. We start by studying the shape and size of your residual limb. Then we build a socket that fits like a glove. No pinching, no pressure, and no slipping.

We use breathable, skin-safe materials that stay comfortable even during Patna’s hot summers. And if anything ever feels off, we’re quick to fix it. We make regular adjustments based on your feedback, so the hand always feels just right.

We also make sure the weight is balanced. Our hands are light but solid—strong enough to hold everyday items, but not so heavy that you get tired. You’ll find that you can wear them for 10–12 hours without needing to rest or remove them.

That’s because we’ve designed them with your life in mind—not just lab tests.

Support Right Here in Patna

Many people worry that they’ll get a high-tech bionic hand but then have no one to turn to for help. Maybe the company is based in another city. Maybe the local technician doesn’t answer the phone. Maybe the spare parts take too long to arrive.

We’ve heard all those worries—and we’ve solved them.

Robobionics has trained professionals and partners right here in Patna. From your first consultation to your final fitting and beyond, you’ll have someone local guiding you. Our support staff speaks your language, understands your lifestyle, and respects your time.

If you ever face a problem, you won’t need to wait weeks for help. Whether it’s a software issue, a battery concern, or a fit that needs adjusting, we handle it fast and with care.

And if you can’t come to us, we come to you. We offer remote check-ins, doorstep pickups, and virtual training—all so that you never feel stuck or alone.

We also stay in touch long after installation. We check in regularly to make sure everything is working well, answer your questions, and offer tips to get the most from your bionic hand. Our relationship doesn’t end at the sale—it begins there.

Choosing a prosthetic hand is not just about replacing what was lost. It’s about finding something that fits into the life you’re already living.

What Makes Robobionics the Best Choice in Patna

We Build with Your Life in Mind, Not Just Your Limb

Choosing a prosthetic hand is not just about replacing what was lost. It’s about finding something that fits into the life you’re already living.

That’s why Robobionics focuses on understanding you first—before talking about models, materials, or mechanics. We ask about your routine, your habits, your work, your family, and even how you like to spend your weekends. We listen.

Someone who runs a shop in Patna’s bustling Hathua Market has very different needs from someone who works at a computer in an office near Bailey Road.

A school teacher, a homemaker, a laborer, or a retired elder—each person needs their bionic hand to support them in unique, meaningful ways. That’s why we don’t believe in one-size-fits-all solutions.

Our team carefully designs each prosthetic to suit your real life. If you need to carry bags, type on a laptop, handle tools, or cook for your family, we make sure your bionic hand can help with those exact tasks.

You don’t have to adjust your life around the hand. We make the hand adjust to you.

Making Advanced Technology Easy to Use

We know that new technology can sometimes feel overwhelming. That’s why we’ve worked hard to keep things simple. At Robobionics, we believe that the best technology is the one you barely notice—because it works so smoothly, you don’t need to think about it.

Once your Robobionics hand is fitted, our team gives you clear and gentle training. You’ll learn how to control the movements using your natural muscle signals. It’s not difficult.

In fact, many people in Patna tell us they were surprised by how quickly they picked it up. We make the training practical and friendly. No complex manuals or confusing settings.

We help you practice with common tasks—holding a glass, writing with a pen, picking up your mobile phone. These small actions build your confidence. And the more you use the hand, the more it starts to feel like a part of you.

Even after the training, we’re always here to support you. If you forget something, want to learn a new movement, or need help with settings, just call us. You’ll speak with someone who knows your history and is ready to guide you, step by step.

Durability That Stands the Test of Time and Weather

Patna has all kinds of weather. Hot summers, heavy monsoon rains, and chilly winters. A good bionic hand should work in all seasons, without causing discomfort or damage. That’s exactly how we build ours.

Robobionics prosthetic hands are tested in real Indian environments. They can handle dust, humidity, and heat without breaking down. The outer material is easy to clean, resistant to stains, and smooth on the skin. Even if you wear it for 10 to 12 hours a day, it remains comfortable and stable.

Inside the hand, the components are made with high-quality electronics that are shock-resistant and well-protected. We use motors that are small but strong, and batteries that are long-lasting and safe. Everything is built to last—not just for months, but for years.

And if you ever do need a replacement part, we have it ready. No waiting for imports. No dealing with delays. Our service centers and local stock keep everything running smoothly.

Pricing That Makes Sense for Families

We understand that for many families in Patna, cost is a serious concern. Medical care is already expensive, and a high-tech device can feel out of reach. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to offer world-class technology at affordable prices.

Because we design and manufacture in India, we avoid the huge costs that come with imported prosthetics. And we pass those savings directly to you.

Our pricing is clear—no hidden charges, no surprises. We explain every cost upfront, and we help you plan your payments in a way that’s manageable.

We also work with non-profit groups, government programs, and charitable organizations to offer financial assistance where possible. If you qualify, we’ll help you apply. We’ve helped students, senior citizens, and unemployed individuals in Patna get their bionic hands through support schemes and donations.

Affordability shouldn’t mean compromise. With Robobionics, you get a hand that’s both advanced and accessible.

A Reputation You Can Trust

You don’t have to take just our word for it. Over the years, more and more people in Patna and nearby towns have turned to Robobionics—and they’ve seen real results.

We’ve worked with leading doctors, therapists, and rehabilitation centers in Bihar. We’ve been recommended by hospitals and trusted by families who’ve seen the positive change a good prosthetic can bring.

Our users often become our biggest supporters, telling others in their community about their journey with Robobionics.

That trust has been earned through hard work, honesty, and consistent care.

We don’t believe in making big promises and walking away. We stay by your side—before, during, and after your prosthetic journey. Whether it’s your first fitting or your tenth visit, you’ll always get the same level of respect, patience, and attention.

The most powerful proof of what a Robobionics hand can do doesn’t come from us—it comes from the people who use it. In Patna, we’ve been privileged to work with individuals from every walk of life.

Real Stories from Patna That Inspire Us Every Day

From Struggle to Strength — Lives Transformed

The most powerful proof of what a Robobionics hand can do doesn’t come from us—it comes from the people who use it. In Patna, we’ve been privileged to work with individuals from every walk of life.

Each person comes with their own story. Their own heartbreak. Their own hopes. And when they put on a bionic hand for the first time, something changes.

Take Ramesh, a 36-year-old auto driver from Rajendra Nagar. He lost his hand in a highway accident. His biggest worry wasn’t just about the physical pain—it was about how he’d earn a living again. When he visited our local center, he was quiet and unsure.

But after two weeks with his Robobionics hand, he was able to grip the steering wheel with confidence. Today, he’s back on the road, working with pride and supporting his family. “It’s not just a hand,” he told us, “it’s my lifeline.”

Then there’s Nazia, a schoolteacher from Phulwari Sharif. She lost her right hand due to a medical condition and feared she wouldn’t be able to write on the board or check notebooks again.

We fitted her with a lightweight bionic hand, trained her to use it for holding chalk and turning pages, and gave her practice tasks based on her real school routine.

Within three weeks, she was back in the classroom. Now, her students ask her about how the hand works—and she tells them, with a smile, that science and courage can do anything.

We also remember Ajit, a college student from Boring Road who had a birth condition that affected the development of his left hand. He had adapted over the years but always felt limited.

With the help of Robobionics, he got a prosthetic hand that gave him better control for daily tasks, including typing and handling laboratory tools. Today, he’s studying engineering and often shares his journey with others who feel hesitant about prosthetics.

These are not isolated stories. They represent something much bigger. They show what happens when the right technology meets human determination. And they remind us, every day, why our work matters.

Training That Builds Confidence, Not Confusion

Getting a new hand—especially one powered by sensors and muscle signals—can sound complicated. But with the right guidance, it becomes surprisingly natural.

At Robobionics, we’ve created a simple, step-by-step training process that takes the fear out of learning and replaces it with confidence.

When you receive your bionic hand, we don’t just hand it over and send you home. We stay with you. We teach you how it works, how your body controls it, and how you can improve your grip and accuracy over time.

The training happens in stages. First, you learn to move your fingers—open, close, pinch, release. Then we practice daily tasks—holding utensils, picking up a coin, tying a knot, opening a bottle. As your strength and coordination improve, we move on to more complex actions based on your lifestyle.

In Patna, we’ve trained users who work in shops, cook for their families, operate machines, and even sew clothes. Each training is personalized. We don’t rush. We don’t overwhelm. We take it at your pace.

Even after the initial training, we stay connected. If you ever want to learn a new technique, improve your control, or just refresh your skills, our team is always ready. We believe learning never ends. And with our support, you’ll keep growing stronger every day.

Care That Continues for a Lifetime

One of the things people in Patna appreciate most about Robobionics is our commitment to long-term care. We don’t disappear after you get your hand. We stay in your life—offering support, service, and advice whenever you need it.

If your hand ever feels uncomfortable, we’ll adjust it. If a part needs to be replaced, we’ll fix it quickly. If you move or change your routine, we’ll help reprogram your hand for better performance.

We also track the health of your device. Our team maintains records of usage patterns, battery cycles, and wear-and-tear so that we can detect problems before they cause disruption.

And if you’re ever unsure about anything—even something small—we encourage you to reach out. No question is too basic. No issue is too small.

We also offer refresher training, community meet-ups, and update sessions where you can learn about new features and upgrades. We believe that caring for our users means building a relationship that lasts a lifetime.

That’s why so many people in Patna trust Robobionics—not just for the product, but for the promise we keep every single day.

One of the biggest reasons Robobionics has built such a strong presence in Patna is because we never treat our users like numbers. We treat them like people—with unique stories, values, and everyday realities. And in a city like Patna, that personal approach makes all the difference.

Why Patna Trusts Robobionics—And Why You Can Too

We Speak Your Language and Understand Your Culture

One of the biggest reasons Robobionics has built such a strong presence in Patna is because we never treat our users like numbers. We treat them like people—with unique stories, values, and everyday realities. And in a city like Patna, that personal approach makes all the difference.

We don’t come in with one-size-fits-all ideas. We come in with open ears. We listen carefully—to your lifestyle, your concerns, your family responsibilities, and your hopes.

We know that people here take pride in simplicity, respect tradition, and value strong relationships. That’s why we take time to build trust before we build a device.

From the first meeting to the last training session, we speak in plain, clear Hindi—or in your preferred language. There’s no technical jargon, no rush to make decisions, and no pressure to buy.

We explain every step, help you try the hand at your own pace, and support your family in understanding how it works. If a parent or spouse wants to know how they can help you adjust to the hand, we guide them gently.

We’ve found that when people feel seen and understood, they take that brave step forward much more easily. And in Patna, where family and community ties are strong, that sense of belonging is what truly helps healing begin.

Designed and Made in India, For India

A lot of the bionic hands available in India are imported. They come with foreign designs, foreign features, and foreign problems. Many of them don’t handle the heat, dust, or power cuts that are common in Bihar. And when they break down, it can take weeks or even months to get them repaired.

At Robobionics, we changed that.

Our prosthetic hands are made in India—by Indian engineers, for Indian users. That means we build everything with local challenges in mind. We test for high temperatures.

We protect the electronics from dust and humidity. We design the grips to handle Indian objects—like a steel tiffin, a water bottle, or even a motorcycle handlebar.

And because we make everything ourselves, we don’t depend on slow shipments or outside companies. If you need a repair or a new part, we have it ready.

Fast. If you want to upgrade, we offer trade-in options that reduce your cost. If you need support, it’s available in your city, not just in big metros.

That’s how we keep our promise—not just of quality, but of peace of mind.

Innovation That Keeps You Ahead

Robobionics isn’t just keeping up with the world—we’re helping lead it. Our research team is constantly working on making our bionic hands smarter, lighter, and more responsive.

We’ve recently launched new models that allow better control with fewer muscle signals. That means even if your limb is weak or short, you can still get strong, reliable movement.

We’re also exploring app-based controls that allow users to customize grip modes from their phones. In the future, you’ll be able to track your hand’s performance, battery life, and signal strength—all from one simple screen.

We’re also investing in AI technology that helps the hand learn your preferences over time. It notices how you hold certain items, what grip you use for daily tasks, and how fast you move—and then adjusts accordingly.

That way, the hand doesn’t just follow commands—it anticipates your needs.

These features aren’t just exciting—they’re practical. They make the hand easier to use, more reliable, and more in tune with your life. And we’re committed to bringing these innovations to Patna first, because we believe every Indian city deserves world-class care.

It’s Not Just About the Hand. It’s About You.

At Robobionics, we never forget what this journey is really about. It’s not just about motors and sensors. It’s about a person finding themselves again.

It’s about the father who wants to hold his baby confidently. The student who wants to raise their hand in class without hiding. The woman who wants to tie her hair again, cook with both hands, and feel like herself.

The young man who wants to shake hands in an interview and look his future in the eye.

That’s why we do what we do.

Every hand we build is designed to restore not just movement—but meaning. Not just control—but confidence. Not just function—but freedom.

And in Patna, we’ve seen again and again how that mission changes lives. Quietly, steadily, and deeply.

When someone first receives a prosthetic hand, especially one that is as advanced as ours at Robobionics, the first goal is usually practical: to return to a normal daily routine. Hold a spoon.

Redefining Identity: How Bionic Hands Are Changing the Conversation in Patna

Moving Beyond “Adjustment” Into Empowerment

When someone first receives a prosthetic hand, especially one that is as advanced as ours at Robobionics, the first goal is usually practical: to return to a normal daily routine. Hold a spoon.

Write. Ride a bike. Shake a hand. But after these milestones are reached, something powerful often begins to unfold—people stop simply adjusting to their new life, and begin reinventing it.

In Patna, we’ve seen a beautiful shift among our users. Once they’ve adapted physically, many begin to speak more openly about their experience.

They become active in their communities. They start conversations at local events, visit schools to educate children, and even join awareness campaigns to reduce the stigma around limb loss.

This transition—from user to advocate—is a transformation we’re deeply proud of. It shows that a bionic hand isn’t just about restoring ability. It’s about restoring voice.

Some of our users have even gone on to mentor others. They guide new users through the emotional journey, share personal tips, and offer hope that things do get better.

This peer-to-peer support, rooted right here in Patna’s neighborhoods, is more powerful than any technology we could ever build. It creates circles of trust, confidence, and shared strength.

Building a Local Network of Pride and Purpose

Over time, Robobionics has helped nurture a community of individuals in Patna who don’t just wear bionic hands—they own their stories. We’ve organized meetups where users come together to exchange experiences.

These gatherings are full of warmth, laughter, and learning. People share how they tackled common challenges, like navigating a crowded bus, handling delicate objects, or returning to public spaces without fear.

What starts as a meeting about prosthetics often turns into a celebration of human courage.

We’ve seen users connect with NGOs and local leaders to push for better accessibility in public buildings, parks, and workplaces. Some have even spoken at medical colleges and youth conferences about disability inclusion.

And all of this momentum is sparked by one very personal change: the moment they could move again, live again, and dream again—thanks to a hand that restored more than movement.

This is where Robobionics stands apart. We don’t just fit devices. We build movements—of empowerment, of awareness, of renewed identity.

Challenging Stereotypes, One Gesture at a Time

Disability in many parts of India still carries a silent weight. People often hesitate to ask questions. Some avert their eyes. Others offer unwanted sympathy.

But when someone confidently walks into a room and demonstrates their Robobionics hand—picking up a glass, writing their name, scrolling through a phone—those old perceptions begin to shift.

In Patna, this quiet defiance of stereotype is happening in schools, offices, homes, and public spaces every day.

One of our users, Ritu, now works in a corporate office and says her interviews went from awkward to amazing once she started talking about her bionic hand with pride.

She flipped the narrative—from “disability” to “resilience.” From “limitation” to “advancement.” That confidence came not just from what the hand could do—but from what it meant.

This change in how society sees limb difference is one of the most powerful outcomes of our work. It doesn’t show up in product specs or manuals.

But it shows up in eyes filled with curiosity instead of pity. In conversations that are open, not awkward. In handshakes that are met with admiration, not hesitation.

The Power of Visibility in Bihar’s Capital

Patna is more than a city—it’s a symbol of Bihar’s heart, culture, and progress. When people here take bold steps, others across the state notice. That’s why our focus on visibility is so important.

We actively encourage our users to take part in community events, public demonstrations, and media projects that shine a light on the power of assistive tech.

We’ve partnered with local photographers, writers, and journalists to capture these stories—not as charity tales, but as stories of strength.

In doing so, we create more than awareness. We create aspiration.

Young people who may have once feared judgment are now seeing bionic hands as a tool of power, not weakness. Parents are reaching out earlier for support.

Teachers are more open to including differently-abled children in mainstream classrooms. All because the visibility of Robobionics users is reshaping how people think about difference.

Getting a bionic hand is not the finish line—it’s the starting point of a new way of living. Many companies do a great job of building impressive prosthetic technology, but after the hand is delivered and a few pictures are taken, the user is often left to figure things out on their own.

After the Handshake: How Robobionics Builds Real Support in Tier-2 Cities Like Patna

Why Post-Installation Care Is Just as Important as the Device Itself

Getting a bionic hand is not the finish line—it’s the starting point of a new way of living. Many companies do a great job of building impressive prosthetic technology, but after the hand is delivered and a few pictures are taken, the user is often left to figure things out on their own.

The initial excitement turns into stress, the device becomes underused, and confidence slowly fades.

At Robobionics, we believe that real success lies in what happens after installation.

That’s why our support ecosystem is designed not just to provide answers, but to build relationships.

Especially in tier-2 cities like Patna—where access to high-end rehabilitation centers is limited, where local technicians are rare, and where users are often first-generation tech adopters—this ongoing support makes all the difference.

We don’t leave you after the fit. We grow with you, walk with you, and adapt with you. Because your life isn’t static, and neither should your prosthetic care be.

Local Access, Without Compromise

One of the most frustrating things users in smaller cities experience is the distance gap—that feeling of always needing to travel to Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru to get things checked, repaired, or upgraded. But in Patna, that story is changing.

We’ve established a dedicated service hub right within the city, supported by trained professionals who understand both the product and the people who use it. They’re not just engineers—they’re empathetic listeners, teachers, and guides.

This means users don’t need to take time off work or spend money traveling long distances just to get minor issues resolved. Whether it’s a socket that feels too tight in the summer, a grip mode that needs reprogramming, or a motor that’s acting up—help is available within hours, not weeks.

Our service model includes home visits for individuals with mobility challenges, on-call video assistance for minor diagnostics, and weekend clinics for working professionals who can’t make weekday appointments.

A “Health Log” for Your Bionic Hand

We’ve developed a unique approach to keep every hand in top condition—a digital prosthetic health log. Each user has a digital profile that tracks the hand’s battery performance, signal strength, usage frequency, and wear-and-tear metrics over time.

This helps our team predict issues before they happen. If we notice battery life dipping or sensors responding slower than usual, we reach out for a checkup before the user even reports a problem.

This predictive care system is especially valuable in tier-2 cities, where users may not be comfortable calling for help or may think an issue is “too small” to matter. We take the first step, making sure every hand stays healthy and reliable.

And for users who aren’t tech-savvy, we explain it all in simple terms—no technical talk, just helpful advice.

In-City Refitting and Upgrade Services

Another problem that users in smaller cities face is that their prosthetic doesn’t evolve with their needs. Over time, a person’s body changes—especially in the case of young users or those recovering from other injuries. Without proper adjustments, even the best hand can become uncomfortable or limited.

Robobionics has solved this by setting up in-city refitting services. Every few months, users can walk in for a comfort check. We assess socket fit, alignment, and posture.

We look at how the user is wearing the device, whether they’re overcompensating with their shoulder, or whether muscle growth is affecting signal clarity. And we adjust everything accordingly.

We also offer on-site upgrades. If a user wants a newer model or additional functionality, we can often integrate those without replacing the entire hand. This modular approach keeps costs down and functionality up—a huge advantage for working professionals, students, and homemakers alike.

Support That Feels Human, Not Robotic

Tier-2 cities like Patna are built on relationships. People here value human connection, local trust, and honest care. That’s why every part of our post-installation process is built to feel personal, not transactional.

When you visit our center, you don’t sit in a cold waiting room. You sit with someone who remembers your name, your story, and your journey. You speak to people who greet you like a friend, not a case number. You receive care that feels tailored, thoughtful, and deeply respectful.

This kind of experience isn’t common in the world of high-tech prosthetics. But we believe it should be.

Ongoing Learning and Reinforcement

Finally, we understand that learning doesn’t stop after the first training session. That’s why we’ve created a user learning pathway that stretches over months—not days.

Every Robobionics user in Patna gets access to follow-up sessions that go beyond the basics. We offer advanced control techniques, posture alignment tips, and even strength-building routines to help you get better every month.

If you want to learn how to handle tools, cook faster, or even write long-form scripts with your hand—we help you get there.

We’ve also developed workshops for families of prosthetic users. These sessions explain how to support, encourage, and assist without overstepping. Because when the whole family understands the journey, the outcome is even stronger.

Conclusion

Robobionics isn’t just building bionic hands—we’re building futures. In cities like Patna, where access, trust, and local support matter most, we’ve created a care system that stays with you long after the first handshake. From smart design to ongoing training, fast repairs, and heartfelt human support, every part of your journey is backed by a team that genuinely cares.

You don’t have to adjust your dreams to fit your limitations. With the right support, your life can expand beyond what you thought possible. Whether you’re a student, a worker, a parent, or a retiree—your goals still matter. And we’re here to help you reach them, one motion at a time.

If you’re in Patna and ready to take the next step, we invite you to start a conversation with us today. No pressure. Just understanding, guidance, and the promise that you won’t be walking this path alone.

Robobionics—because getting your hand back should mean getting your life back too.
